'VOICE 2010' Dates and Location Announced:
June 2-5, Century Plaza Hyatt in Los Angeles
June 10, 2009
The voice-over industry's largest conference is returning to Los Angeles next June.
Executive producers James R. Alburger and Penny Abshire announced today that the third VoiceOver International Creative Experience, or VOICE 2010, will be held June 2-5 at the Century Plaza Hyatt Regency Hotel in Los Angeles.
"VOICE 2010 is already shaping up to be the best yet," say the co-producers, who also operate The VoiceActing Academy and VoiceActing LLC.
If the conference location - especially the hoppin' pool bar - looks familiar, you were probably there for VOICE 2008 last August. The first VOICE conference, in 2007, was held in Las Vegas.
The conference was created exclusively for the voice acting community, and focuses on three themes: education, technology and community.
"High caliber presenters are already on board who will share their expertise and techniques for bettering a voice acting career," say Alburger and Abshire. Also planned:
- exceptional panels of working professionals in the industry,
- vendors who will introduce the newest in technology,
- opportunities to network and meet new friends, and
- many other special events.
"More than 400 voice-over talent, coaches and industry professionals attended VOICE 2008," note the co-producers. "That’s more than double the attendance at VOICE 2007. We anticipate an even bigger turnout for VOICE 2010."
